Perfection. When you look into the mirror, at your reflection...That's it.That's you. That is perfection.
SkeletonsPeople are scared of monsters in their closets, but I already know what's inside mine.My own skeleton, buried with the other objects that don't seem to matter, the objects I never seem to notice I lose. It's chest is empty, eyes hollow, but it doesn't scare me anymore.I always have been like this, just no one seemed to notice.I try to keep it hidden from the guests, but I know that someday i'll have to clean out the closetand purge myself of this clinging nostalgia.I know that if I don't soon i'll become a emotionless string of bones as well, faster than my skin can have a chance to crumble.
My dear English,Roses are redViolets are blueGive me a reasonOr even a few…Why should I love you?You don’t fight like GermanYou don’t make love like FrenchYou don’t sing like ItalianOr dance on my lips like RussianYou’re blank like a leaf of paperYou sound cold and hollowYour people, your makerAre the one’s who made you so.But I am THE poet…I look for words in colorsYou’re just too white, too quietThat’s why you’re not one of my lovers. Here is your reason, he said:I’m a leaf of paper, right?Blank and white? And you are THE poetso I am what you write.
Only GreedThree kingdoms now standThree kingdoms shall fall. For each has a treasure,And greed fills them all.The first kingdom risesWith prosperous centuries ahead.Thoughts of immense richesDanced in the king's head. The next kingdom shoneWith streets adorn with gold; But what lacks is brains,For they're ignorant but bold. The final king lay in his bedNightmares lurked inside his head. For knowledge he had, but time not,And youth is was his want.So go forth the king's pawns,Knights with no fear in their eyes; They rode to their undoingSacrificing their lives.Three kingdoms once stoodThree kingdoms now gone; With treasures now lost,And only greed won.
I AmI'm a rainbow becauseI need the sunI bathe in its raysI thrive from its fun.I'm a rainbow becauseI need the rainIt dampens my spiritsIt waters my pain.I'm a rainbow becauseI can never decideMy thoughts are all coloursMy heart doesn't hide.I'm a rainbow becauseI'm a mix of it allWith sunshine and rainWith spring and with fall.A rainbow is "happy"I guess that is trueBut never forgetA rainbow has blue. For every bright dayA rainbow needs rain. For every nice smileA rainbow has pain.I shouldn't forget,The darkness in shadeLet clouds overcome youAnd a rainbow shall fade.
Learning to be HumanSomething Borrowed. It started when she noticed the laughing people, the ones who smiled. She'd never experienced anything like that before. It looked... interesting. So, after a while spent watching from the outside, she figured out how to school her facial muscles into a facsimile of a smile, and how to give an approximation of a laugh. Eventually, over time, she became better at it. But one day, her borrowed smiles and her borrowed laughs became just as accurate as the others'.Something Blue.It started when she noticed the quieter people, the ones who didn't join in the jollity. The ones who walked with downcast eyes and sloping shoulders, moving around the crowd's edge. She'd never experienced anything like that before. It looked... interesting. So, after a while spent watching from the outside, she learnt to discard her easy smile and her quick laugh. She figured out how to hang her head so that she couldn't see the world pass by, and how to say "I'm fine." without
